Last week Yollocalli was invited to a meeting/presentation about CPS and its Art Initiative

The purpose of these meeting is to share the importance and benefit of having art as an elective of even as a core subject. The goal is to be able to have at least two full time Art educators at out Chicago Public Schools and obtain funding for the Arts. 

I definitely agree with having art incorporated more often in the classroom especially now that the school day will be extended there must be room for the ARTS!
