Sarita Garcia & Joseph Josué Mora  | Explore fiber arts and bookmaking at the Yollo Lab, our satellite location in Barrett Park’s field house.  Create crazy weird patterns on fabrics using screen printing and natural dyeing techniques and gain the skills you need to make books, sketchbooks, and self-publish zines through mass production screen printing.

Whitney Ross | Our special internship that provides teens the opportunity to play an instrumental part in the development of classes, workshops, and special events for young people at Yollocalli. This summer, teens will focus on fundraising – designing and making handmade merchandise for sale at the National Museum of Mexican Art, city-wide events, and our online shop.

Liz ‘Bel’ Reyes | Create a visual narrative in the form of a graffiti mural that will positively reflect and impact your community! Teens work as a team to design and create a powerful graffiti-inspired mural that will display the teens’ talents and commitment to their neighborhood.  The mural will be a work of the community and will emphasize the history and cultural heritage of Little Village.
